On a beautiful September day, The Sopranos production crew picked a street in Jersey City to do some filming. The street was located off of Kennedy Blvd (the main drag (for racing) This shot was taken during the period the crew was setting up the scene. |
Jeff Marchetti (Petey LaRosa) and Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) one of Tony Soprano's most loyal soldiers |
Tony Sirico (siting) and James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano). Shame I forgot to bring my "miracle ear" device this day)
The scene which they are doing for The Sopranos, requires that the camera be mounted on a tolley which rides on a set of tracks. The camera angle they are trying to get is what one would see if you were looking at the scene via the left drivers side passenger mirror. |
That white screen in the background is used to provide consistancy in lighting for the scene. |
You can see the track better, which the camera rolls on |
I like happy people, there is just no reason for people to be miserable. |
James Gandolfini is actually reading the local newspaper headlines |
This looks like a difficult scene to shoot, but looking at all the preparation done, when we eventually see it, I am positive it will be perfect |
