The day The Sopranos closed down Route 17 at the Bada Bing

On February 11, 2007, The Sopranos did something that made Bergen Countie's coffers very happy, they paid some really big bucks to close down Route 17 south, in the vicinity of Satin Dolls, in Lodi New Jersey for several hours. The scene being filmed here, took place over several days. With Sunday morning, being the time they needed the gihgway to complete the scene.

The scene that is being filmed is a black car peels out of the parking lot of the Bada Bing, and buts off this poor rider of a motorcycle. Here he lies are the crew work around him.

Parked behind the Bada Bing is this vehicle that looks amazingly similar to the one Paulie Walnuts mis placed in the epsiode "Pine Barrens". Note all the bullet holes in the side of the vehicle

You'll never pass inspection with the bullet hole in the windshield

This is the vehicle that pulls rapidlly out the the parking lot of the Bada Bing. There are 2 people in the car, and note the bullet hole on the passenger side windshield. Also the vehicle has New York license plates.

In one of the takes for the scene, the rider of the motorcycle lands on the highway and his motorcycle slides across in front of a caar traveling in the fast lane of Route 17 south. The highway you see in the background is Interstate 80.

The is the driver of the motorcycle, he really did do a fantastic job, without getting hurt, performing this stunt.

The camera team, set up across the street from the Bing to get a different angle on the camera shot, or perspective.
