Tell us about some of the movies you have done in the past year.

I had a scene with Sarah Jessica Parker You are presently working on “Return to Sleepaway Camp, kids can be so mean” in Pennsylvania
It’s cold man, but it’s really refreshing, I love it. It brings back a lot of memories when I I am pork guy, the other white meat
Do you film in the state of New Jersey a lot ?
I have
What do you enjoy about filming in the State of New Jersey?
Its great Jersey is a nice state, its clean. Its hard to drive in Jersey.
New York City’s better? (Yeah right) New York is square. It’s like uptown and down town. Jersey you have to make a left They are proposing a huge motion picture production complex in Secaucus, the vast numbers of available talent, that reside in the metropolitan area?
I think it would be a really good thing for everyone if we had more local studios.
I’m really in favor of the Stapleton Studios in Staten Island. It would really be
a good shot in the arm for New York. I’d like to see Jersey get one also. My
cousin Danny Aiello that’s his project right now, the Stapleton Studios. It was
a go for a while and now there some loopholes, but they are going to get it going.
Do you have any pets?
I had a pet; I’ve had a couple of pets. I had a golden retriever. I won’t
get another dog, he died and that kind of broke my heart
What is in your future, besides winning the lottery?
Hopefully, good health. The play, I’m up for a part in a film called “Firefighter”,
it may be a documentary. It takes place 9 or 10 days after September 11. It gives
you an idea what the firefighters were going through at that time. It’s pretty serious stuff.
What charities are you involved in?
Heartshare
Feed the children with my wife
St Jude
How did you acting career get started?
A friend of mine, who is a still photographer named Brian Hamel. He worked
for Woody Allen. My cousin Danny Aiello and he worked together. He was
hired by a Italian food chain corporation and shoot this commercial here on 57 St.
at Blackwell’s penthouse. They were looking for Italians and Brian told me it would
be a good idea for me to go up and see casting and see if they needed anybody.
Next thing I know they hired me. I made 50 bucks and had a great time.
From the still photos they took, went back to casting. From those pictures, they
started calling me for other movies. I got a small part in Woody Allen’s movie
“Husbands and Wives”. I played one of the parents of the kids at a party.
That enabled me to get into the union, and the rest is history.
What do you like most about acting?
The freedom, creativity, spontaneity and just hanging around talented people.
It lets your inner ambitions out you become somebody else; and maybe it isn’t
even somebody else, maybe its you and your letting yourself out.
Where did you grow up as a child?
Manhattan
What do you think about your fans?
They’re crazy. The fans are my family.
How you had any crazed fans hug you and kiss you
(I know you’ve been waiting for that)?
Believe it or not, I have clients that come in and they know everything I’ve been in.
When they come in they want to hug me and kiss me. They want an autographed
photo. So, I’m pretty popular within my own circle of people. They are really good cheerleaders.
Who would you like to work with in the future?
Everyone. To pick one in particular, I would like to do a really nice movie with
my cousin, Danny, playing his brother or something like that.
