"The Bianco and the Rossi families of Yonkers have been feuding for years - over pizza! Those who prefer a tangy sauce go to Rossi's; those who like their crust thin and crispy go to Bianco's. When young Angela Rossi, armed with a newly minted associates degree in marketing from New York's Fashion Institute, tries to help her father put the Biancos out of business, pizza detente goes out the window. And when doodle artist Tony Bianco agrees to help his father steal the secret of the Rossi's sauce to win the neighborhood pizza contest, pizza war - and a little star-crossed loving - follow. "

On Friday October 7, 2005, I attended the New York Premiere of this movie, which won several awards including; Audience Award for Best Comedy at the 2004 Sarasota Film Festival, Audience Favorite Award at Film in Film Festival in Barola, Italy, Special Selection, JVC American Filmmaker's Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival, and an Audience Award at the Mass Bay Film Festival. When you read about awards like this you just know, that it's going to be good!

The movie's premise is simple, you've got two rival pizza parlor owners from Yonkers, whose main goals in life, besides making the best pizza around is to make each other absolutely as miserable as possible. This leads to all sorts of really funny diabolical escapades by devised by both to destroy each others businesses. A wrench gets thrown into the simmering tomato sauce pot, when Vito Rossi (Vincent Pastore) and Frank Bianco's (Frank Vincent) respective children fall in love with each other. The movie mixes some great music (people in the audience were asking about availability soundtrack) and creative animation, which adds, to the flow of the story line.

This 82 minute film, is playing in 2 New York theaters, the AMC on West 42nd Street and the Westchester’s Regal, New Roc City 18, in New Rochelle, New York. I really enjoyed it, so if you can get a chance to get out and see it, during it's limited run at these theaters, make a point of doing so. You won't regret it and will definitely be in the mood for some great New York pizza!

After the Premiere, a party was held at a nearby club, and of course Pizza was on the menu! Here's some photos from the event!

	After the Premiere, the food, naturally was pizza. This is only one of the stacks of pizza pies that were there. It was New York Style pizza, thin crispy crust and tangy sauce.
Small world, running into Ray Iannicelli. Ray plays the character of the character of "Steve" in John Fiore's movie, "Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits"
	This is Lou Bonacki. Mr. Bonacki played the character of Francis Satriale in the third season episode of The Sopranos, entitled, "Fortunate Son".

Lou Guss, he played the character of Emilio. Mr. Guss also appeared in "Two Family House", "Night falls on Manhattan", Moonstruck". He has also made appearances on "100 Centre Street", "All in the Family", "The Odd Couple", "Kojak" and "Law & Order" (among his numerous credits)
