October 23, 2007 - The Sopranos, season 6, part 2, as most of my readers know will be released on DVD. As in the prior releases, the set will include some special features;

  • "Making Cleaver" - an exclusive sneak-peek at the behind-the-scenes making of the film that Christopher pitched in Hollywood
  • "Music of The Sopranos" - a retrospective look at the final season and the music that helped shape it
  • Four audio commentaries from cast members - Episode 1: Steven Schirripa, Episode 3: Dominic Chianese, Episode 7: Robert Iler, Episode 8: Steven Van Zandt

October 23 - HBO Video releases the film "Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq" a documentary produced by James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) for sale on DVD. For more about the film, click this link.

Ongoing - The play "Dirty Dancing" has opened in Toronto, Canada. This play, based on the hit movie, with the same name features Al Sapienza (Mikey Palmice). The play's venue is The Royal Alexandra Theatre, 260 King St. West, Toronto. For ticket information visit this link.

March 1 - Annie Liebowitz's photo exhibition “A Photographer's Life” will open at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, California. According to the San Francisco Sentinel, it It will close at that venue on May 25, and then the tour will go international.

March 18 - the movie “Revolver” featuring Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) will be released on DVD in The United States. source: Movie Web

Max Casella, aka Benny Fazio is set to join the cast of “Endgame” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Performances are set to begin on April 25 (previews), it officially opens on April 30 and will close on May 18. The BAM Harvey Theater is located at 651 Fulton Street in Brooklyn . May 16 - Lorraine Bracco (Dr. Jennifer Melfi) will serve as a judge at the Titanium Chef Challenge in the Grand Ballroom at the Don CeSar Beach Resort on St. Petersburg Beachas part of The Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival. Saturday May 24, 2008, at 7:00 pm , Vincent Pastore's and The Lickety Split Band will host a special holiday party to welcome the summer. Those who attend can expect great food, surprise guests and the music of The Lickety Split band. June 1 - "Sopranos Sunday," to benefit the Huntington's Disease Society of America, will take place June 1 at Hyatt Regency Greenwich. The event, which features a cocktail reception, dinner, auction and a meet and greet with actors Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy), Dan Grimaldi (Patsy Parisi), Jerry Adler (Hesh), Tony Lip (Carmine Lupertazzi) and Federico Castelluccio (Furio), among others. October 10 - James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano) apparently is going to be in the film, "Miracle at St. Anna" which will premiere on this date.
